GCM is a grassroots movement among the emerging generation in the United States that has spread to 44 U.S. campuses and 23 nations.

We exist as a movement to create church communities that reach the emerging generation with the message of Jesus Christ. Each of us as leaders has been touched by the reality of God in our lives, and we want to grow in our connection with Him while working to bring others to understand the love and grace that surrounds Him.. We believe that the word "church" has always meant more that a building or time, but a living community that God breathes through.

So we start with "church," and then move outwards. There's a global need for the next generation to find real Jesus and follow His way. Actively igniting new communites that are authentic to their local setting, but reflect God in every way: this is our view of world mission.

And then we develop leaders. The church constantly needs new influencers - men and women with passion, vision, and a desire to live God's way and inspire others to do the same. Our churches and conference events seek and develop young leaders who want to mature into fully devoted Christ-followers, and become the influencers of the next generation.
