Why did you come on staff with I-Life?
God called me to take a risk and forego a career in
Business/Engineering and be a full-time worker for his kingdom. Knowing
that I-Life played a huge role in helping me become more devoted to
Christ, I decided to give myself to the same cause here at U of I.

Why are you still here?
I don't believe that God has called me in a new
direction yet and I still believe that the college years are some of the
most instrumental and transformational years of your life. And there are
lots of people that I like here.

Small group leader - 6pack, Coach, SNG producer,
Short-term missions leader, Mentor, Emailer extraordinaire, Occasional
teacher and designer

Favorite spots on campus?
Courtside for Illini game, any coffee shop with good
atmosphere

Ideal event or activity on campus?
Walking around campus after a big snowfall and the
first week of Spring, Black Chorus concert, visiting a new restaurant

A few hobbies/pastimes?
Running races, Pumping iron, Blogging,
Photography/Photoshop, Wandering around in Borders, Sampling new music,
Learning more about Africa

One experience that you wish every student would
graduate with?
Going on a short-term missions trip

What inspires you?
Desserts, Oceans, Mountain vistas, Sunsets, Starry
skies, Art museums, Cellos, Serving the poor, Photography, people of
vision... okay, so a lot inspires me!

For six months in 2003, I lived in Cape Town, South
Africa. I like to dance.
