Saturday Night Grace - now in its 14th year on campus - is the weekly large group gathering for I-Life, but it doesn't feel big. The lights are low, but the atmosphere glows - it's good to see our friends together again. Lasting just about an hour and half, SNG has elements of historic Christian worship that are framed the way that feel natural to the way we think, the way we listen, the way we learn.

Worship Experience
Our times of worship together are both celebrative and introspective. Our bands play straight-foward beats, strong melody, engaging sound. We sing together - its easy to learn - but the sound is loud enough that we don't have to worry we might get caught off-key. As Christians through time have done, I-Life finds God through the artistry of song. We experience, explain, and wonder through the lyrics.

Life Thought
Most SNG's feature a main speaker. Our communicators - sometimes our pastors - but also other leaders throughout our fellowship - emphasize theology that is both true and utterly pratical. We laugh, we think, we engage the teachings of Jesus as students, with open eyes. It's fair to say that I-Life sees the study of God and the study of life as inseperable. Together we engage, dialogue, and understand.

Culture Fusion
A trip to south India would give you a different Christian experience than Brazil, and different than our university. We view the music, talk, media, and espresso around us as places where God can both be seen and experienced. It's not unusual for us to use this year's chart-topping song, recent films, or pop images to express deeper truths.
